Al-Aadiyaat

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا

Transliteration: WaalAAadiyati dabhan

By the racers, panting

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا

Transliteration: Faalmooriyati qadhan

And the producers of sparks [when] striking

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا

Transliteration: Faalmugheerati subhan

And the chargers at dawn

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا

Transliteration: Faatharna bihi naqAAan

Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

Transliteration: Fawasatna bihi jamAAan

Arriving thereby in the center collectively

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ

Transliteration: Inna alinsana lirabbihi lakanoodun

Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ

Transliteration: Wainnahu AAala thalika lashaheedun

And indeed, he is to that a witness

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

Transliteration: Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedun

And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense

أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Transliteration: Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alquboori

But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

Transliteration: Wahussila ma fee alssudoori

And that within the breasts is obtained

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

Transliteration: Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeerun

Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted
