لَوْ كَانَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوهَا ۖ وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

Transliteration

Law kana haolai alihatan ma waradooha wakullun feeha khalidoona

English translation

Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein

Translation: Saheeh International

21:100 لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يَسْمَعُونَ For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear 21:101 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed 21:102 لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَـٰلِدُونَ They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally 21:103 لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ هَـٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which...
