يسٓ

Transliteration: Yaseen

Ya, Seen

وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

Transliteration: Waalqurani alhakeemi

By the wise Qur'an

إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Transliteration: Innaka lamina almursaleena

Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers

عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Transliteration: AAala siratin mustaqeemin

On a straight path

تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Transliteration: Tanzeela alAAazeezi alrraheemi

[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ

Transliteration: Litunthira qawman ma onthira abaohum fahum ghafiloona

That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware

لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Transliteration: Laqad haqqa alqawlu AAala aktharihim fahum la yuminoona

Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ

Transliteration: Inna jaAAalna fee aAAnaqihim aghlalan fahiya ila alathqani fahum muqmahoona

Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ

Transliteration: WajaAAalna min bayni aydeehim saddan wamin khalfihim saddan faaghshaynahum fahum la yubsiroona

And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see

وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Transliteration: Wasawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am lam tunthirhum la yuminoona

And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe

إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ

Transliteration: Innama tunthiru mani ittabaAAa alththikra wakhashiya alrrahmana bialghaybi fabashshirhu bimaghfiratin waajrin kareemin

You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

Transliteration: Inna nahnu nuhyee almawta wanaktubu ma qaddamoo waatharahum wakulla shayin ahsaynahu fee imamin mubeenin

Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register

وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Transliteration: Waidrib lahum mathalan ashaba alqaryati ith jaaha almursaloona

And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it

إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ

Transliteration: Ith arsalna ilayhimu ithnayni fakaththaboohuma faAAazzazna bithalithin faqaloo inna ilaykum mursaloona

When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you

قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ

Transliteration: Qaloo ma antum illa basharun mithluna wama anzala alrrahmanu min shayin in antum illa takthiboona

They said, "You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies

قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ

Transliteration: Qaloo rabbuna yaAAlamu inna ilaykum lamursaloona

They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you

وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Transliteration: Wama AAalayna illa albalaghu almubeenu

And we are not responsible except for clear notification

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Transliteration: Qaloo inna tatayyarna bikum lain lam tantahoo lanarjumannakum walayamassannakum minna AAathabun aleemun

They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment

قَالُوا۟ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ

Transliteration: Qaloo tairukum maAAakum ain thukkirtum bal antum qawmun musrifoona

They said, "Your omen is with yourselves. Is it because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people

وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Transliteration: Wajaa min aqsa almadeenati rajulun yasAAa qala ya qawmi ittabiAAoo almursaleena

And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, "O my people, follow the messengers

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ

Transliteration: IttabiAAoo man la yasalukum ajran wahum muhtadoona

Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided

وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Transliteration: Wama liya la aAAbudu allathee fataranee wailayhi turjaAAoona

And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned

ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ

Transliteration: Aattakhithu min doonihi alihatan in yuridni alrrahmanu bidurrin la tughni AAannee shafaAAatuhum shayan wala yunqithooni

Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me

إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

Transliteration: Innee ithan lafee dalalin mubeenin

Indeed, I would then be in manifest error

إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ

Transliteration: Innee amantu birabbikum faismaAAooni

Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me

قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ

Transliteration: Qeela odkhuli aljannata qala ya layta qawmee yaAAlamoona

It was said, "Enter Paradise." He said, "I wish my people could know

بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ

Transliteration: Bima ghafara lee rabbee wajaAAalanee mina almukrameena

Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored

وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ

Transliteration: Wama anzalna AAala qawmihi min baAAdihi min jundin mina alssamai wama kunna munzileena

And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so

إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ

Transliteration: In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan faitha hum khamidoona

It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished

يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

Transliteration: Ya hasratan AAala alAAibadi ma yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona

How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ

Transliteration: Alam yaraw kam ahlakna qablahum mina alqurooni annahum ilayhim la yarjiAAoona

Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them - that they to them will not return

وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ

Transliteration: Wain kullun lamma jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona

And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us

وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ

Transliteration: Waayatun lahumu alardu almaytatu ahyaynaha waakhrajna minha habban faminhu yakuloona

And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ

Transliteration: WajaAAalna feeha jannatin min nakheelin waaAAnabin wafajjarna feeha mina alAAuyooni

And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs

لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ

Transliteration: Liyakuloo min thamarihi wama AAamilathu aydeehim afala yashkuroona

That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful

سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Transliteration: Subhana allathee khalaqa alazwaja kullaha mimma tunbitu alardu wamin anfusihim wamimma la yaAAlamoona

Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know

وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ

Transliteration: Waayatun lahumu allaylu naslakhu minhu alnnahara faitha hum muthlimoona

And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness

وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ

Transliteration: Waalshshamsu tajree limustaqarrin laha thalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi

And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing

وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ

Transliteration: Waalqamara qaddarnahu manazila hatta AAada kaalAAurjooni alqadeemi

And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk

لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

Transliteration: La alshshamsu yanbaghee laha an tudrika alqamara wala allaylu sabiqu alnnahari wakullun fee falakin yasbahoona

It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming

وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ

Transliteration: Waayatun lahum anna hamalna thurriyyatahum fee alfulki almashhooni

And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship

وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ

Transliteration: Wakhalaqna lahum min mithlihi ma yarkaboona

And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride

وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ

Transliteration: Wain nasha nughriqhum fala sareekha lahum wala hum yunqathoona

And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved

إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

Transliteration: Illa rahmatan minna wamataAAan ila heenin

Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

Transliteration: Waitha qeela lahumu ittaqoo ma bayna aydeekum wama khalfakum laAAallakum turhamoona

But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy

وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

Transliteration: Wama tateehim min ayatin min ayati rabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena

And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

Transliteration: Waitha qeela lahum anfiqoo mimma razaqakumu Allahu qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheena amanoo anutAAimu man law yashao Allahu atAAamahu in antum illa fee dalalin mubeenin

And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Transliteration: Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful

مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ

Transliteration: Ma yanthuroona illa sayhatan wahidatan takhuthuhum wahum yakhissimoona

They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing

فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

Transliteration: Fala yastateeAAoona tawsiyatan wala ila ahlihim yarjiAAoona

And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return

وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ

Transliteration: Wanufikha fee alssoori faitha hum mina alajdathi ila rabbihim yansiloona

And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten

قَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Transliteration: Qaloo ya waylana man baAAathana min marqadina hatha ma waAAada alrrahmanu wasadaqa almursaloona

They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth

إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ

Transliteration: In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan faitha hum jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona

It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us

فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Transliteration: Faalyawma la tuthlamu nafsun shayan wala tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona

So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do

إِنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍ فَـٰكِهُونَ

Transliteration: Inna ashaba aljannati alyawma fee shughulin fakihoona

Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation

هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ

Transliteration: Hum waazwajuhum fee thilalin AAala alaraiki muttakioona

They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches

لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ

Transliteration: Lahum feeha fakihatun walahum ma yaddaAAoona

For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]

سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ

Transliteration: Salamun qawlan min rabbin raheemin

[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord

وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Transliteration: Waimtazoo alyawma ayyuha almujrimoona

[Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals

أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ

Transliteration: Alam aAAhad ilaykum ya banee adama an la taAAbudoo alshshaytana innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun

Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy

وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ

Transliteration: Waani oAAbudoonee hatha siratun mustaqeemun

And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path

وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ

Transliteration: Walaqad adalla minkum jibillan katheeran afalam takoonoo taAAqiloona

And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason

هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

Transliteration: Hathihi jahannamu allatee kuntum tooAAadoona

This is the Hellfire which you were promised

ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

Transliteration: Islawha alyawma bima kuntum takfuroona

[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny

ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

Transliteration: Alyawma nakhtimu AAala afwahihim watukallimuna aydeehim watashhadu arjuluhum bima kanoo yaksiboona

That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn

وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ

Transliteration: Walaw nashao latamasna AAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssirata faanna yubsiroona

And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see

وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ

Transliteration: Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona

And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return

وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Transliteration: Waman nuAAammirhu nunakkishu fee alkhalqi afala yaAAqiloona

And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand

وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ

Transliteration: Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAAra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waquranun mubeenun

And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an

لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

Transliteration: Liyunthira man kana hayyan wayahiqqa alqawlu AAala alkafireena

To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ

Transliteration: Awalam yaraw anna khalaqna lahum mimma AAamilat aydeena anAAaman fahum laha malikoona

Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners

وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ

Transliteration: Wathallalnaha lahum faminha rakoobuhum waminha yakuloona

And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat

وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ

Transliteration: Walahum feeha manafiAAu wamasharibu afala yashkuroona

And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

Transliteration: Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan laAAallahum yunsaroona

But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped

لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ

Transliteration: La yastateeAAoona nasrahum wahum lahum jundun muhdaroona

They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance

فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

Transliteration: Fala yahzunka qawluhum inna naAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona

So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ

Transliteration: Awalam yara alinsanu anna khalaqnahu min nutfatin faitha huwa khaseemun mubeenun

Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ

Transliteration: Wadaraba lana mathalan wanasiya khalqahu qala man yuhyee alAAithama wahiya rameemun

And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated

قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ

Transliteration: Qul yuhyeeha allathee anshaaha awwala marratin wahuwa bikulli khalqin AAaleemun

Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing

ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ

Transliteration: Allathee jaAAala lakum mina alshshajari alakhdari naran faitha antum minhu tooqidoona

[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite

أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Transliteration: Awalaysa allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda biqadirin AAala an yakhluqa mithlahum bala wahuwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu

Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator

إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

Transliteration: Innama amruhu itha arada shayan an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoonu

His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is

فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Transliteration: Fasubhana allathee biyadihi malakootu kulli shayin wailayhi turjaAAoona

So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned
